Swansea Life puts a gloss on the media mix

The new edition of Swansea Life is out.
Its cover lines plug features on beauty (tips to turn back time), relationships (upfront dating tips) and fashion (metallic and pewter).
Key advertisers in this 148-page lifestyle-fest include Lara Johnson Lifestyle (inside front), Andrew Price salon at Hurst House on the Marsh (inside back) and Sancta Maria Hospital (back).
Highlights for Media Master include a hook-up the mag now has with Real Radio via a CD reviews page by drivetime show host Dave Brookes and a feature on a spectacular house makeover by architects Hyde + Hyde high above the glorious Langland Bay.

Swansea Bay media just got more stylish

The second edition of promising new style mag Edge is about to land in selected Swansea area boutiques.
But you can take an advance peek at its front cover right here - http://twitpic.com/11jzfb
Issue one was picked up by Media Master on a pre-Christmas shopping expedition to Mumbles' fabulous Newton Road. I think it was discovered in fashion shop Pebble (http://www.pebbleclothing.co.uk/) as Mrs Media Master tried on some vaguely ethnic top thing.
Edge is a vivacious addition to the Swansea area's media circuit and the good folk there seem to have their heads screwed on.
They arrange door-to-door delivery to high-end households in areas such as Lisvane, Cowbridge, Monmouth, Langland and Mumbles. Swansea's M&S (http://www.marksandspencer.com/) is stocking Edge.
A full page ad is ratecarded at around £500 and the list of early advertisers is impressive.
They include Cardiff's Capitol Shopping Centre (http://www.capitolshopping.co.uk/), jeweller Pravins (http://www.pravins.co.uk/), Cowbridge boutiques Visage (http://bit.ly/b5DnNE) and Superdry (http://www.amicicowbridge.co.uk/), Swansea jeweller Tyler Jenkins, Swansea restaurant Penthouse, salons, hotels and bars.
The new front cover promises Shoes! Shoes! Shoes!, new nudes ... and Jamie Roberts. Not all on one page, we hope.
